Terms of Use

Effective October 31, 2026

The short version: Spinemere is licensed to you under Apple's standard terms. Spinemere Pro is optional and handled entirely by Apple. Only play audiobooks you have the right to play.

License

Spinemere for iPhone and iPad ("the app") is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Standard EULA"). If anything on this page conflicts with the Standard EULA, the Standard EULA wins.

Spinemere Pro

Spinemere Pro is an optional unlock, offered as a subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase. The plans and prices for your country are shown in the app before you confirm.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in the Settings app > your name > Subscriptions.
Pro lifetime works with Family Sharing.
Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Your audiobooks

Spinemere is a player. It doesn't sell, provide or share audiobooks, and you're responsible for having the right to play the files you use. Spinemere doesn't remove copy protection and can't play DRM-protected books. Keep your own backup of books you care about.

No warranty

The app is provided "as is", as described in the Standard EULA. We work to keep it reliable, but we can't promise it will be free of bugs or that every file will play. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost data or indirect damages.

Changes

If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
